The Bracelets are Ready!

A few weeks ago, I found out about the 7000 Bracelets Blog Hop.  It is a fun hop, for a good cause.  Check out the button on the right to see more about this wonderful event.  The theme for this was denim/blue, and the bracelets needed to be adjustable so that whoever receives the bracelets can wear them.  Those were the only rules, and so it opened up a wide range of possibilities.  I decided to start with the denim idea, and made some fiber and denim rolled beads.  Then I made some seed bead spacers/bead caps.  Then I added some denim lapis end beads and lots of copper for some subtle bling.  I had so much fun, I had to make a second, similar bracelet using turquoise beads.  Here are the bracelets.

The Turquoise Bracelet

I didn't model the second one, but you get the idea, LOL.  Anyway, here's a list of the talented artists participating in this great cause.  Enjoy the hop!  I know I can't wait!

Shannon, I LOVE that denim one! How fantastic and inventive and a great mix of design elements. Both bracelets are so lovely and casual, but really grab your attention. I like the outline of copper chain. A lot! Thank you so much for joining this event :-)

Both of these are lovely. However, I really do like the added denim and other bits in the first one. They both will be special reminders for a woman who needs plenty of encouragement that someone out there had lent some strength. Well done.
