And then it hit me, I wanted to use fabric, with a little beadwork thrown in to keep it close to my passion. One came out very country vintage old newspaper cool. The other came out with gold lame and a painted-by-me pink lace flower. I used ribbon. I used a touch of bling-y thread. I used a giant @. Enjoy!

Meticulous work! Thanks for sharing, Mary Shannon! LOVE!
Hi Mary Shannon,
You are very creative I love your tins. My favorite is the Vintage News one.
Therese
They are so cute and fun!! Love that little plaid on the first one, and the newspaper is awesome!
I had to laugh at your hundreds of ideas comment. That was me at first! I love , love, love the fabric and newsprint tin! Good color combination for Golden Sparkles.
Love that vintage news!!! Nothing better then some paper!
I can tell that you put a lot of work into these tins. I love the different layers and textures. Very nice!
These are so cute!! Love them! I'd have loved to participate in this hop, it looks like it was fun.
I love that you did both tins and they're so different! I find pink very challenging, so I always admire those who can pull it off. Very sweet!
Your "hundreds of ideas" comment was right on. That's exactly how I felt, too. Thanks for joining the challenge!
These are just gorgeous! I love them both so much but that pink & gold together really goes great!
They are both beautifully done...it would be hard to pick a favorite. Lovely work.
What adorable tins you have created! I absolutely love anything old and vintage-y, and your newspaper tin is wonderful! I can certainly relate to the list of ideas you went through before you decided on your designs - I think I spent 2 weeks going through designs in my head before I actually started working on them! Beautiful job! :) Molly
Oh, the vintage news is very cute! How fun!
Fabric is a great choice. I love the embellishments on top.
I love them both, and your hundreds of ideas comment cracked me up!
Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop Hugs and wishes for a beautiful week ahead.
